Dates

• Spring program runs March 17th to June 1st
• End of Season Tournament: Weekend of May 31st-June 1st

Program Format

• Playing Format: 9v9 (ages 10-11) | 11v11 (ages 12+)
• Depending on the playing format, roster size will range from 11-16 players per team
• 4 Home games on nearby Albany-Berkeley, El Cerrito or Richmond fields
• 4 Away games, local travel within a 12-mile radius, typically Alameda, Piedmont, Oakland
• All players guaranteed 50% play-time
• Professional, licensed coach (email [email protected] if you are an experienced volunteer coach and would like to coach your child’s team)

Location & Times

• Practice Time: 4-5:30pm or 5:30-7pm
• Players can share availability during registration
• Location for HOME games and Practice: Tom Bates Sports Complex, Berkeley | King Track & Field, Berkeley | San Pablo, Berkeley | Codornices, Berkeley
• Location for AWAY games: Alameda, Oakland, Piedmont, Richmond 
• Saturday or Sunday games

Roles of a Team Manager

• Team Managers act as a team liaison and an extension of the Mersey admin team. They are responsible for:
• Maintain team rosters and communication through the GameChanger App
• Organize a post game snack roster
• Organize a post season party
• Managers do not need to attend practices
• Managers must register as a team official through their player account.
